{PROJECT 365 – DAY 056 – 15.03.2011}

March 21, 2011

Didn’t really get chance to go out and shoot this day. This last week really, my minds been on other things like sorting my website and a new property to rent so shooting has kinda taken a back seat.

Pretty frustrated with my post processing although by playing around I have discovered a few new tricks. So yeah, don’t expect too much from the next few photos.

This photo was from when I was messing about with ‘Freelensing’ in the kitchen the other night. Can make for some interesting effects, kinda like tilt-shift lenses. Problem with the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 is that for a 50mm focal length lens it is pretty BIG, and with having small hands it’s difficult to support the lens and turn the focus ring at the same time. If you have the Canon 50mm f/1.4 or f/1.8 it should be pretty easy due to them being much smaller and lighter. Give it a whirl, but just be careful you don’t drop the lens!
