Vivid Sydney Festival – Circular Quay

June 17, 2012

Last Friday, Naomi and I went down to Circular Quay to check out the Vivid Sydney Festival. It’s an awesome exhibition with moving light sculptures being projected on to several of the major landmarks down around the harbour. I was really impressed with the images projected on to Sydney Opera House, which made it appear as though the individual tiles were moving and had them peeling back to reveal different layers of the building. The short cartoon projected on to the Customs House was also spectacular and rather than me trying to describe it, go check it out here. As you can see from the photos below, we are the sort of cool people who also like to hang out in the library on a Friday night. Rock ‘n’ roll!
